Day 1:

Brandberg Trek

Drive from Uis to the Hungarob Gorge, the starting point of the trek (@ 700m). It is a sandy, dry riverbed so better take a 4x4. Initially you follow this riverbed for a little while before a reasonable trail ascents up the George. In the afternoon you will need to scape a steep rock plate and scramble over some big rocks before reaching the "Wasserfallfläche" (Waterfall Plane), the typical rest place for the night with a few (unreliable) water hole nearby. Including some breaks this will take something like 6-8 hours and 1200m in altitude gain. You will be able to enjoy vista of the Numa mountain (2518m) here.

Day 2:

Brandberg Trek

After hiking on the rocky plateau for a while you will scramble up the Königsstein for another 600m. At the top you will have vast vistas of the surrounding desert and the rocky interior of the Brandberg massif. On the way back to the (same) camp you can do a trail variant to the "Snake Rock Cave" with its ancient rock art.

Day 3:

Brandberg Trek

After another night under the stars descent to the starting point on the same trail like on Day 1.
