Cape Wrath is located in the far north-western corner of Scotland. It is a rugged coastal hike featuring steep cliffs, a long beach, a little bit of highland flavor and the famous Scottish weather. The nearby town of Durness is a good base to stock your supplies and for some accommodations. As some sort of extra spice the area is sometimes used as bombardment range for the royal air force so better make sure that there's no training planned during the next few days. There is no real trail to follow so just take the coastal line as a guidance. Typical for many places in Scotland the planes can be swampy but there're no major obstacles. The trail is a semi-circle so once you hit the road again you can flag down a bug and return to Durness to enjoy your well-deserved Guinness in a local pub.
