Day 7: Hanumana La base to Parfi La base

Lingshed Monastery

4800 metres are next up on todays agenda. The very steep path to the Hanuma La is illuminated by the first sunbeams of the new trekking day. The whole way up is exhausting but the real challenge awaits the trekkers all the way down to the Parfi La base camp.
Sheer rock walls with a very narrow path make this part of the trek severe and somehow dangerous. A wild creek follows the descent and has to be crossed several times - depending on this year's path which varies due to the creek.
An adventuresome bridge close to todays destination leads to one of the most beautiful campgrounds on the trek. Enormous rocks surround the small tents and the well-known creek changed into a small and very noisy river, while the rays of the setting sun light up the sky and the top of the Parfi La.

Day 8: Parfi La Base to Hanamur
